The mark consists of a dancer with a red body, a singer with a blue body, an artist with a yellow body, and a disc jockey with a green body holding a black and red vinyl record. Underneath the four figures and the literal element are a red rectangular bar, a blue rectangular bar, a yellow rectangular bar, and a green rectangular bar. In between the designs of the bodies and the literal elements is a horizontal gray bar. The literal element consists of the words "NATIONAL MUSEUM OF HIP-HOP WWW.NMOH.ORG" in black stylized font with the letter "O" in "HOP" shown as a record. The color white is intended as background, outlining, shading and/or transparent areas and it not part of the mark.
